Dave is a vice president at VENTURE, where he partners with his clients to design and execute strategies that deliver successful outcomes for their customers, shareholders, and stakeholders. 

 

For nearly two decades, Dave served in senior leadership roles in Capitol Hill for members of the House Ways and Means, Financial Services, and Appropriations Committees. He has a record of success advancing policy initiatives using his extensive knowledge in the legislative process, along with his first-hand experience in navigating complex political dynamics.

 

Most recently, Dave was Chief of Staff for Congressman Greg Murphy, MD (R-NC), a member of the House Ways and Means Committee and Co-Chair of the Congressional Doctors Caucus.  In addition to leading the Congressman’s Washington and district offices, Dave managed his political operation, including his successful primary re-election and his role on the recruitment team at the National Republican Campaign Committee (NRCC) as Republicans took back the House.

 

Previously, Dave was Chief of Staff for Congressman Denver Riggleman (R-VA), a member of the House Financial Services Committee and China Task Force.  Prior to that, Dave was Chief of Staff to Congressman Kevin Yoder (R-KS) a senior member and Cardinal on the House Appropriations Committee.  Dave served as Congressman Yoder’s liaison to the Full Committee when he chaired both the Legislative Branch and Homeland Security Subcommittees.  Dave started his career in the House of Representatives working for Congressman Christopher Shays (R-CT). 

 

The proud son of a Marine, Dave had the opportunity to live and learn all over the country and globe and is a graduate of the University of Connecticut. Dave lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and two children and is active in several youth sports leagues.
