With her unique blend of legal acumen, strategic thinking, and creative vision, Catherine has an individualized skillset to help clients navigate Capitol Hill.  Her keen understanding of both the legal realm and legislative processes allow her to create innovative solutions for clients and facilitate meaningful connections.

 

Prior to joining VENTURE, Catherine gained invaluable experience working as a Counsel on the House Oversight Committee under Chairman James Comer’s (R-KY) leadership. She played a pivotal role in conducting investigations, developing legislative strategies, and providing counsel on matters of national significance, and often headlining issues which garnered significant media attention. As a resource for committee members on matters of law and policy, she prepared hearings, drafted statements, provided briefing materials, and developed comprehensive congressional reports and memos on a broad range of committee issues. Her ability to navigate complex legal and political landscapes has earned her respect among colleagues and lawmakers alike.   

 

A native of Austin, TX, Catherine is also an artist and creates commissioned artwork for notable clientele.  She gives back to the community through annual donations of artwork to philanthropy projects such as Mack Jack & McConaughey, The Big Good, and others. She is also a member of the Frick Young Fellows Program in New York City.

 

Catherine earned her undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University and her J.D. from the University of Kentucky Rosenberg College of Law.
